They work in teams to create engaging learning experiences for scholars based on meaningful, hands-on projects that integrate standards across multiple subjects. They embrace planning for and teaching a diverse classroom of scholars with a wide variety of learning styles, needs and behaviors. They form meaningful relationships with scholars and families.

Open Positions for 2017-2018
1st, 2nd, & 4th Grade Teachers
In addition to the qualities listed above, Highly Qualified Elementary Teachers to collaborate with other grade level teachers in planning Integrated learning. Work with a grade level team of teachers and interventionists to establish excellent instruction and literacy and math achievement growth. Provide organizational and leadership duties in helping to establish and manage the Elementary school climate and culture.
7th / 8th Grade Science
In addition to the qualities listed above, Highly Qualified Secondary Science teacher to teach two sections of 7th and two sections of 8th grade, as well as leading an elective each day. Collaborate with the 7th / 8th grade team in generating meaningful integrated Expeditions and Modules. Host a Crew, an advisory equivalent. Grow the experiential approach to Science through creative planning and energy. Provide organizational and leadership duties in helping to establish and manage the Middle School climate and culture.
5th / 6th Grade Language Arts
In addition to the qualities listed above, Highly Qualified teacher to teach two sections of 5th and two sections of 6th grade, as well as leading an elective each day. Collaborate with the 5th / 6th grade team in generating meaningful integrated Expeditions and Modules. Host a Crew, an advisory equivalent. Work to increase the Literacy proficiency in students. Provide organizational and leadership duties in helping to establish and manage the Middle School climate and culture.
Art Teachers (1st – 4th & 5th – 8th)
In addition to the qualities listed above, create and teach K – 8 Art classes. Start a fresh Art program for an integrated curriculum. Bring energy and vision to generate a scope and sequence for a robust Art program. Work with grade level teams to integrate Art into Expeditions and Modules. Assist in creating a school wide vision for art inclusion and valuing.
